[Award] The Reginal Committee of Kurenai no Yume Promotion Received a Special Jury Prize at the Food Action Nippon Awards 2014

The Regional committee of Kurenai no Yume Promotion is currently working on the widespread promotion of its red flesh apples called “Kurenai no Yume,” a Hirosaki University apple variety registered with MAFF* in 2010. This committee received a Special Jury Prize at the Food Action Nippon Awards 2014.

The Food Action Nippon Awards
The “Food Action Nippon Awards” were established as a part of the project “Food Action Nippon (FAN)” in an effort to increase the consumption of domestic agriculture and marine products. It invites industries and organizations that aim to improve food self-sufficiency in a wide area of Japan and provides a reward for those that actively promote this food self-sufficiency to the wider society. The overall aim of “Food Action Nippon” is to build a society where delicious and safe food can be enjoyed for future generations.
