The opening ceremony of Hirosaki University Museum: The 7th planned Exhibit ~ Special Exhibition for the Republic of Turkmenistan ~ was held on February 18th, 2015.

Exchanges between Hirosaki University and Turkmenistan has been developed through some efforts including special lecture giving by the ambassador at Hirosaki University on April, 2014, valuable books on medical plants donation from Turkmenistan to Hirosaki University, and a visit by the President Sato to Turkmenistan on July, 2014, that provided us this profitable opportunity to have the special exhibition at Hirosaki University.

Gurbanmamet Eliasov, ambassador of the Republic of Turkmenistan visited Hirosaki Univerity to attend the opening ceremony as representative of the country. During the ceremony, he cut the ribbon and presented the books to the President Sato.

This special exhibition is running through March 31, 2014.
