The 2014 Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Bilateral Programs Joint Research Projects/Seminars Held

Hirosaki University Faculty of Humanities invited various guests, including Professor HIGUCHI Yoshio from Keio University, along with government administrators and researchers from Daegu, Korea to participate in a joint project/seminar that addressed the following topic: “The loss of regional human resources and the policy of area development ~Why do the young move to Tokyo/Seoul?”. This is part of The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Bilateral Programs Joint Research Projects/Seminars. It was held on October 17, 2014 (Fri.), in the recently refurbished building, HIRORO, in downtown Hirosaki City in the Exchange Area on the 3rd and 4th floors, which are official spaces for the Hirosaki Cultural Exchange Hall.
