A special lecture “Agritourism: Supporting Agriculture Through Economics and Education” was held

On October 16th, 2018, a special lecture on Agritourism was held at 405 lecture room, sponsored by International Agriculture and Horticulture Course, the faculty of Agriculture and Life Science, Hirosaki University.
Dr. Philip Lynn Smartt is a professor of Park Management and Heritage Interpretation, Department of Agriculture, Geosciences, and Natural Resources, the University of Tennessee, Martin. He came here as the visiting professor of our faculty exchange program this year on October 14th, and was invited for the lecture. During the lecture, attendees were all listening attentively to him and discussed actively about agritourism which includes farm education, farm activities, and direct purchase of farm products.
