Special Lecture for The Center of Innovation (COI), Held at Hirosaki University

On Monday April 28, 2014, at  the Auditorium for Foundation Lecture,  Graduate School of Medicine, Hirosaki University, Professor MIZUNO Masaaki, Vice-president of Nagoya University from the Center for Advanced Medicine and Clinical Research, Nagoya University Hospital Advanced Medical Care, gave a special lecture as an invited speaker. The theme of Professor Mizuno’s talk was “Health promotion and community building to prolong expectancy, the Nagoya University approach.”

The purpose of this lecture was to develop a deeper understanding of the cohort study to promote research activity sites with themes such as “Development of an innovative strategy for disease  prediction and prevention combining neuroscience research and analysis of “big health” data organized by the university, companies and local governments and adopted as COI STREAM (The Center of Innovation Science and Technology based Radical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program). Professor Mizuno also serves a committee member of the COI structuring team for COI STREAM (The Center of Innovation Science and Technology based Radical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program).
