Aomori High School Students Presented Science Research Challenge at Hirosaki University

On December 6 (Sat.), 2014, Aomori high school students presented science research challenge at Center Faculty of Science and Technology Building No.1, that was the 15th presentation in this series, hosted by High School Science Education Council, Aomori Prefectural Government.

The aim is to develop Aomori high school students to be capable of acting proactively and responsibly with a global point of view in a society that is becoming more international through a research challenge, that is expected to train a problem discovery and solving skill. Faculty members at Hirosaki University support this project.

This time, approximately 280 Aomori high school students from Science and Mathematics course in Aomori prefectural Goshogawara high school, SSH* class in Aomori prefectural Sanbongi senior high school and SSH class in Aomori prefectural Hachinohe Kita high school, visited and presented their researches at Hirosaki University. 13 faculty members including Prof. INAMURA Takao, Advanced Materials Science and Technology, Graduate School of Science and Technology, gave advice or feedback on their unique researched, that inspired with each other.
