【Important】Class schedule after Winter Break

1. Classes
   ① Winter Break is from December 26th, 2020 to January 5th, 2021.

   ② Classes will go online and be conducted as media classes from January 6th to January 14th, 2021.

   ③ There will be no classes from January 15th to January 18th, 2021 due to the university entrance examination.

   ④Starting from January 19th, 2021 classes will return to the classroom and be conducted face-to-face.

2. Seminars, Laboratory Work, and Practical Training
   Please consult with your advisor or supervisor for more information.

3. Monitor your Health Condition and Record your Daily Activities
   In order for face-to-face classes to be held safely from January 19th, we will have a two-week-period for you to monitor your own health condition. Please return to your current address by January 5th and take media classes from January 6th. Please use the「行動記録票」to monitor your health and record your daily activities. Please note the completed「行動記録票」will be shared within Hirosaki University to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19.

4. Part-time Job
   Please refrain from working part-time at places where alcohol is served. No matter where you work, please make sure your work-place is taking necessary infection control measures. Please also do not forget to wear a mask and disinfect your hands often.

5. Student Clubs and Circles
   There will be no student club and circle activities from January 4th to January 18th, 2021 except for activities that do not involve face-to-face interaction and members of the horseback riding club who take care of the horses.

6. Visiting Specific “Hotspot” Prefectures in Japan
   Please report to the faculty or department you belong to before you plan on visiting specific “Hotspot” prefectures in Japan. While you are away, please follow the preventive measures specified by Hirosaki University. Please submit the check sheet to Hirosaki University Health Administration Center within three days from the day after you return to Hirosaki or nearby areas and then conduct a follow-up check for 14 days and submit the follow-up checkup sheet after the 14-day period ends.
   (The specific “Hotspot” prefectures in Japan as of December 2020: Hokkaido, Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Fukuoka, and Okinawa)

7. Career Center
   Career consultation will be conducted online from January 4th to January 18th, 2021.

8. Others
   ・If the faculty or department you belong to ask you to follow different measures, please follow them.
   ・Please check your university email often.
   ・If you test positive for COVID-19 and/or had close contact with COVID-19 patients, you are prohibited from attending the university. Please contact the faculty or department you belong to.
